Our Approach

We know living independently at home is important. We’ll work with you to find a caregiver who can help
ease the burden of everyday tasks, ensuring a fuller, more dignified life with our four-pronged approach:

One of our licensed nurse supervisors will meet with you to assess your needs, working with you to achieve your goals.

You’ll have a lot of say in when and how your caregiver interacts day-to-day with your family. After our initial assessment, we’ll create a comprehensive plan that works for you.
You wouldn’t trust just anyone to provide crucial care in your home, and neither would we. We hold our employees to high standards, providing them ongoing training and strong office support. Your family will be matched with an efficient caregiver who’s fully screened, insured, supervised, compassionate, and friendly.
Our nurse supervisors perform weekly reviews, making regular home visits to ensure all needs are met, adjusting care whenever necessary. If you ever have any concerns, just let us know.

HIPAA (Your Privacy)

Common Questions

A. Costs for services vary dependent upon the duties performed within your personalized care plan. Rather than give a standard rate for hourly services, we tailor solutions to fit your budget and needs.

Additionally, AllCaregivers works with families to source funding for home care through various federal, state, local and non-profit agencies. If you feel you may have difficulty affording home care services, we have a team that is dedicated to assisting you with your needs.

Answer:
A. Yes. AllCaregivers employs Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs). Our experienced, caregiving team members are required to receive ongoing training throughout their careers. This is done to keep us well informed of changing patient needs, as well as new technologies.

As a client of AllCaregivers, families are assured a qualified caregiver who has received all of the following:

  • Ongoing in-service training in accordance with South Carolina Department of Health & Human Services standards
  • Licensed nurse supervision both on- and off-site
  • Criminal background check
  • Drug testing
  • Department of motor vehicles record check

AllCaregivers is not a staffing agency or placement agency. We follow your needs and monitor the quality of care each family receives at all times.

A: Common payer sources may include Medcaid, Long Term Care Insurance, Veterans Administration, Workers Compensation, Private Pay, Office on Aging, and Local Organizations. We always assist our clients on finding suitable payer sources if the need arises. Give us a call and we’re happy to help.
A: We hire experienced caregivers and provide initial training before any client contact. Our training is conducted by our nurse supervisors and is done in compliance with standards set forth by the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (SCDHEC), as well as the South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services. Ongoing training and monitoring is also required throughout the entirety of employment with AllCaregivers.
A: Since all of our caregivers are employees, we are required to maintain valid workers compensation and liability insurances as well as licensure from SCDHEC. Criminal background checks are performed on all employees. Additionally, all of our caregivers are routinely drug screened and must undergo health assessments including tuberculosis testing.
A: We do not require a contract period. We understand that our clients’ needs may change at short notice, and we are always willing to accommodate any changes that occur.
